A few personal meetings about desired parameters made it clear that the existing formulation would have to be redesigned from the ground up.
\nIn addition, we identified a critical raw ingredient which could become the target of regulatory restrictions in a few years. Since our development department keeps its finger on the pulse, is tapped into a huge network of information sources, and stays in constant communication with raw ingredient suppliers, this ingredient could be proactively replaced. We were able to present the customer with an initial product sample for testing after just one month. Update of the \u2018ready-to-sell\u2019 sun protection range<\/h3>\n

We recently reworked our entire \u2018ready-to-sell\u2019 sun protection range at great expense in order to incorporate the latest scientific findings about sunscreen filters, effectiveness, product safety, and sustainability.<\/p>\n

In a nutshell:<\/strong>
\nno sunscreen filters that could be hormonally active (endocrine disruptors), microplastic-free, nano-free, natural waxes\/oils, silicon-free, PEG-free, no parabens, combination of chemical & mineral (natural) filters for optimal sun protection.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner row_type=”row” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” css_animation=”” el_class=”intro-inner-two-col”][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1739972787669{padding-bottom: 85px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Regulatory adaptation<\/h3>\n

After learning of a change to the permitted maximum concentration of an ingredient, we proactively contacted all affected customers and offered suggestions for solutions. Adaptation to customer wishes<\/h3>\n

We presented a hand cream formulation from our \u2018ready-to-sell\u2019 product range to a customer. The customer loved the product and definitely wanted to include it in their product range. However, the meadowfoam seed oil in the formulation lacked the \u2018Swissness\u2019 the customer wanted, so we suggested adding alpine rose extract cultivated by local organic farmers in Switzerland to the formulation.
